Hey Ya'll & Why I'm Writing
Hey Ya'll! Interestingly enough, for most women pregnancy is an undeniable slap in the face as you are bombarded with hormones, and thus the infamous not-always-in-the-morning sickness and the disappearance of your monthly flow. As for myself, however, I experienced no signs of morning sickness and had a period after my baby was conceived so I was unaware of the fact that I was pregnant until I was 8 weeks. Although, quite literally sometime before the moment my husband's "little guy" found my egg I was hit by a car crossing the street in my downtown neighborhood which could explain the delay in identifying those signals. Yes, you read that right- I was hit by a car crossing the street in a cross walk- and, yes, I looked both ways, mom (she really did ask me that!). By the grace of God, or sheer luck, the type of vehicle that hit me was a large SUV so I when I was struck I was flung across the cross walk, but did not sustain any broken bones. Of course fol...
